HI GUYS....
just discovered that the game treats our modern Cpu as a Old Pentium IV..

my keybord tells how many cores my CPU uses when i run games....i noticed that Motogp 08 uses only 1 core of my DUAL CORE 2 CPU E 8400..That's why sometime i lose some frame..making a game going a bit slower



it sayd 50% because i use only 1 core full,so the game treats all new CPU as they were a normal old Pentium IV , monocore

well done milestone programmer

-in any way i found the way to make the game run in Both coreS...gain more fluent game and less stressed CPU

let's work on it..

1)lunch the game




2) now open the task Manager by pressing "ctrl alt canc" and search fou "LUNCHER.EXE" in processing windows like this :



as u find Luncher .exe .press the right mouse botton and go 2 last option

will appear this::



it tells u how many cores the game is using...but it's not true so u just need tick them off..and then tick them on..and the game will start using 2 cores

and that's the result :

now the game uses both core having much faster game, no freez and not stressed single core CPU

in Vista the game uses 2 cores..so dont need do this..

THAT'S WORK ONLY 4 DUAL CORE 2, CPU


ps(forward i will make tread about changing freak resolution...i didnt spent more than 250 euroin graphic card 4 playng at 1024 x 768)

Myself I'm a single core user, but this is an interesting and informative thread. Using both cores as you've shown looks less stressful on the cpu / s

No Matrix, u got it all wrong, it is actualy MotoGP 1998, but they are little late, so its optimized only for P I platforms !

yeah i havnt been on the forum in a looonnnggg time. today (on christmas ) wich i was spending alone btw, i went to buy the NAG magazine and saw that the motogp 08 demo is on it (didnt know its out yet). tried to play it but it looked like my pc was too was for this game (released at the end of 2008???? lol). switched it over to one core , just like matrix shows above,and it worked fine


btw, this game is fooking awesome. i love. now people like me, who spend kinda important days alone, can play against a realy challenging AI. havnt played much of the demo yet, but i hope the AI stays difficult, and i hope u cant get like allot faster than them like on motogp 07 and the prev ones
